The Thunder team took 4th place (but 2nd in the Silver division) in a Yuba City tournament in early October. Kali was a little miffed to learn that the team which took first place in the Silver division was a 12U team preparing for an upcoming tournament by playing up. Hence, she could not find her smile for this picture. However, most teams leave these tournments with nothing to show for their efforts except tired eyes and the receipts from filling up their gas tanks, so leaving with a medal is not a bad proposition.

Feliz Cumpleanos Uno!

Our 'baby boy', UNO, turned one last week and was treated to a birthday bath and haircut! We're hoping that he sheds a bit less for a couple of weeks at least!
